Celina Peerman, Ph.D.

sgp_8515Celina Peerman, Ph.D. serves as an organizational behavior specialist with over 22 years of experience from front line to senior level positions, in a wide range of industries and organizations.

She is passionate about engaging our human resources in new ways in order to achieve even better organizational results.

Celina has led successful workshops and designed training for a variety of professions. She has also presented at numerous conferences for local, state and national audiences. Her work in Southeast Asia, Canada and Central America gave additional operations experience, further developing her strong international interests.

Celina’s focus is to provide quality training and services that directly contribute to service for all stakeholders and in particular the retention of front-line staff and strength of first-line supervisors.  Her passion is for how people behave at work; the good, the bad and the worst.  Celina’s style has been described as dynamic noting the ability to draw in even the most resistant attendees through real life examples and humor.

In addition to keynotes and workshops, as an organizational behavior specialist, she works one-on-one and in small group settings with a range of difficult topics sensitive to the workplace and all those involved.

Celina holds a Ph.D. in Psychology with the distinction Organizational Psychologist from Capella University and a Master of Arts degree from Upper Iowa University in Business Leadership with a specialization in Human Resource Management.  Her undergraduate degree from the University of Dubuque was in Psychology and International studies.


Mel Gonnerman, Ph.D.


 Mel Gonnerman Jr., Ph.D. is the Director of Industrial & Organizational Services at the Peerman Group where he provides companies solutions in the areas of training, organizational planning, and leadership development.

Dr. Gonnerman's Ph.D. is from Northern Illinois University where he studied social and industrial/ organizational psychology. Dr. Gonnerman is a former faculty member in the psychology department at the University of Northern Iowa, Research Operations Manager at the Center for Social and Behavioral Research at UNI.
His experience also includes serving as the Founder & Executive Director of a non-profit organization as well as a Corporate Planner & Marketing Director at a manufacturing company.

Mel has exceptional insight into leadership development to help others realize his/her best potential.  In workshops, small groups and one-on-one, he is able to provide insight, tools and perspective to support clients to reach their goals.


Jeffery D. Welter, M.S.

sgp_8420Jeffery D. Welter, M.S. serves as an Industrial/Organizational consultant with over 25 years of human resources experience in publicly traded and privately held small, medium and large organizations.

Jeff brings diverse and extensive executive experience with Fortune 250 companies such as Textron Inc., ConAgra Foods, and DynCorp International working both domestically and internationally.  He has spent much of his career getting results through leading the HR function in customizing workforce solutions that translate strategic business objectives into actionable and sustainable organizational effectiveness initiatives in manufacturing and engineering environments.  As a veteran of organization function and dysfunction, he brings a wealth of experience on the importance of leadership behaviors and learning and development practices that act to motive employees to engage in positive ways when performing their daily work.  

Specialty training and certifications include six sigma green belt, Textron Business Systems Assessment (Shingo Institute guidelines), Thunderbird Executive Training Program, Lominger Leadership Architect, The Predictive Index, master certified trainer in Achieve Global Products and certified trainer for DDI-IM and Targeted Selection recruiting processes as well as experienced with Gallup Strengthsfinder, DISC and a variety of assessments.


Toni Williams, DC

Toni Williams services as Client Services Coordinator.  With substantial training and experience in healthcare, Toni brings great passion for service and hisgp_8448gh quality work.  Toni will work on behalf of The Peerman Group to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible for your event or however our team is supporting your efforts.

Toni has a special passion for small business and the hard work done every day right here in Iowa.  As a former business owner and chiropractor, she has a unique perspective on what it takes to manage through daily challenges while providing high quality service.  Toni graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic with her doctorate.
